Currently blowing away fans with 13 dates across the UK during January and February, Scott Gorham commented “The response has been amazing – there are some towns we haven’t played with this line up and demand for us to play there means we can add more shows – so here you are!!’

Hello Everyone. When Thin Lizzy brought their there show to Leicester in England on January 23rd at the famous De MontFort Hall, Marco lost his watch. It is a 19 year old Rado watch that he is very sentimental about and would dearly like to get back. He is offering a reward and no questions asked if anyone manages to find it. If you have it or know anything about this, please contact management at ace@sirenmanagement.com. Thanks!
We’re still powering our way through the Thin Lizzy catalogue! As we’re sure you know, the next 2 Deluxe Editions are Fighting and Nightlife, they’re coming on 12th March and they’ll be packed with some great bonus material. Now that Scott has selected and approved everything we can confirm that the releases will be double albums with bonus demos, outtakes, rarities and some great unreleased songs. Read on for full details...
Fighting
‘Fighting’ was the fifth studio album, released in 1975. Thin Lizzy were to finally create an identifiable sound drawn from hard rock, folk, pop and rhythm and blues. ‘Fighting’ was to make a clear break away from the subdued nature of ‘Nightlife’, thus the lyrics ‘fighting my way back’ on the title track seem hard to not interpret.
Fighting is tense, vicious rock and roll album and marked the sound of the band really coming into their own. It’s hard not to be enthralled at their interplay especially when they were combined with Phil Lynott. . Whether he's writing hard-charging rockers like "Wild One," and "For Those Who Love to Live" or combining both on "Freedom Song," his songs manage to be both mythic and ordinary. This is testament to the strength of this incarnation of Thin Lizzy, who truly began their classic era with this dynamic LP.

Nightlife
‘Nightlife’ was the fourth studio album from Thin Lizzy, released in 1974.This was the first album to be recorded by Mercury and was to mark the start of their classic era featuring Scott Gorham and Brian Robertson.
The opening track ‘She Knows’ and the upbeat ‘Showdown’ are the high-water marks of this album. Having said this, there are some moments of tough rock & roll seen through ‘It’s Only Money’ and ‘Sha-la-la’, which both act as a perfect showcase for Gorham and Robertson. ‘Nightlife’ has a more soulful sound than earlier Thin Lizzy records and show Phil Lynott’s increasing growth as a songwriter.

We're Triggerfinger, an Antwerp-based three piece: vocalist/guitarist Ruben Block, drummer Mario Goossens and bassist 'Long' Monsieur Paul, and we're set to show there is more to Belgium than, um, waffles, chocolate, Stella and Manneken Pis. We've been around since 2004 and have produced three albums to this day. Up until now we've mainly explored continental Europe, but this time - for the first time - we're looking at a UK release of our new album 'All this Dancin' Around'. Got some good reviews & an excellent comment after our appearance at High Voltage festival in London.
In Summer, we played some festivals in Europe with Thin Lizzy & they invited us to come along and support them during their UK tour. We hope you guys will enjoy Triggerfinger as well.
We'd like to share some music with you and invite you to one of the shows in time to come & check the band. Mind you, we're on early!

LOS ANGELES, CA – November 4, 2011
For more than forty years, Thin Lizzy has been delivering their brand of rock ‘n roll to audiences all over the world. Even with the untimely passing of legendary front man Phil Lynott twenty-five years ago, the band has continued on. Over the years, many rock luminaries have graced the ranks of Thin Lizzy including the likes of Brian Robertson, Snowy White and the late Gary Moore. Most recently, Def Leppard’s resident guitar wizard Vivian Campbell joined the band for their 2011 European tour. When Def Leppard called Vivian back to their camp, Gun’s & Roses guitarist Richard Fortus joined the boys on their European festival run this past summer. Continuing on in the tradition of top-notch performers, the members of Thin Lizzy are proud to announce that veteran guitar player Damon Johnson has joined their ranks as a permanent member.
Damon’s pedigree is impressive, having first gained notoriety with his own band, Brother Cane in the 90s. For the past 6 years, Damon has lent his skills to veteran rocker Alice Cooper, helping the master showman deliver his legendary show to fans all over the world. But when Guns & Roses called Richard Fortus back for tour dates this fall, Thin Lizzy knew there was only one man that they wanted to replace Richard’s formidable talents. “When Scott Gorham called me and asked me to play with my favorite band of all time, I didn’t even hesitate.” Becoming part of the pantheon of the band that was a major corner stone of his musical taste is a dream come true. Damon continued, “I have always loved Thin Lizzy and their music is a huge part of my life. Hell, I even named my daughter Sarah after one of their songs!” Scott Gorham adds, “Damon brings back the classic feel Thin Lizzy had when Phil was still with us. He has been kicking ass every night and asking him to join was a no brainer.”
When the metal masters Judas Priest asked Thin Lizzy to join them on their North American Epitaph tour, Damon was a natural choice to fill Richard’s spot. The chemistry with Damon has been incredible. He has fit in so well that the band decided to ask him to join the band permanently. Singer Ricky Warwick chimes in, “Damon is a phenomenal guitar player, a great guy and a Lizzy fanatic. He was willing to commit to the band full time making this an easy choice.”

Thin Lizzy have recruited guitarist Damon Johnson (Alice Cooper, Brother Cane) to replace Richard Fortus on their forthcoming US tour with Judas Priest. Fortus will be on the road with Guns n Roses for the remainder of the year.
Upon his appointment with Thin Lizzy, Damon says, "The music of Thin Lizzy is the absolute biggest influence on my entire career; as a guitarist, songwriter, singer and performer I've been performing Lizzy songs since I started playing in bars in Alabama in 1987. To be even a small footnote on the list of great guitarists that have been in the band over the years is one of the highest accolades of my life. I am honored and beyond excited!!"
